A number of anglers recently progressed along the Sport Ireland Coaching pathway completing the module ‘Coaching Anglers with a Disability’. After a morning in the classroom the anglers were encouraged to design their own approach for beginners with disabilities from Disability Sport NI. And successful they were with the volunteers having a fun afternoon catching plenty of fish at the Mid-Ulster District Council facility at Dungannon Park Lake fishery.
This module was fully funded by Sport Northern Ireland for Ulster affiliated clubs. The next session Water Safety Training takes place on Saturday 4th November also at Dungannon Park – booking necessary.
