The National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland is one of the hardest working angling organisations in Ireland it is the only reconised management body for all coarse anglers in the north and the south of Ireland whether as club members or as individual anglers. The NCFFI is responsible for a wide range of angling matters and focus on all aspects of coarse angling including management of international teams that fish in World and European championships according to CIPs rules, improving facilities for all coarse anglers, introducing young and old alike to coarse angling, protecting our fish stocks, and involving all people regardless of background, sex, religion or angling ability. The NCFFI liaises with various bodies including Inland Fisheries Ireland, Board Failte, Waterways Ireland, Loughs Agency and many more that are charged with legislation that affects our sport and past-time. The NCFFI are constantly trying to bring World & European events to Ireland and are due to host the World Feeder Championships and the World Lure Championships from a boat, this will showcase our world class angling venues. The NCFFI is a member of the Angling Council of Ireland (ACI), Sports Council of Ireland, Federation of Irish Sports and The International Angling Confederation (CIPS). The NCFFI provides its membership with Insurance (Personal, Waterkeeper and Club), Garda Vetting and Nationally recognised Coaching. NCFFI events are the only coarse angling events recognised by the Sports Council of Ireland and such events as the “All Ireland” are running over 50 years.
