1. NCFFI are an (NGO) Non Government Observer, and represent the best views of its Member Clubs at local and National Government level.
2. We provide a very good Insurance Policy for our Member Clubs.
3. Been Affiliated to CIPs, this allows Members and Clubs to represent their County at International events like the World, European, and World Club Championships etc. The NCFFI are only recognised by CIPs in Ireland no other Coarse Angling group can represent Ireland at CIPs/FIPSed International coarse events.
4. Represent anglers at regular meetings with Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI).
5. Affiliated to the Angling Council of Ireland and some of these benefits are:
   • One unified body representing the sport of angling both Nationally and Internationally.
   • The provision of professionally trained angling coaches to clubs around the country.
   • The roll out of coach training for angling clubs in 2009 and beyond.
   • Representation of anglers on the Irish Specimen Fish Committee.
   • Provision of central mailing system for affiliated angling bodies / clubs.
   • Provision of administrative office and conference facilities at Sports HQ.
   • Representation at European Anglers Alliance Salmon & Sea Trout Meetings.
   • Representation at North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organisation
