During the World Championships only two species will be counted, they will be Pike (above 50cm) and Perch (above 25cm). Other predatory fish in the system are out of season and will not be counted (Trout and Salmon).
During the competition the length of the fish will determine the number of points awarded per centimetre squared. The ranking shall be made based on the points (expressed in square cm) obtained, and by summing up the square of the length of each fish caught by the two anglers making up the “pair”.
There is no requirement to fish with barbless hooks or single hooks on the water
A map of the competition boundaries will be provided to all competitors.
There is no speed limit only those as advertised in specific areas of the lough.
