Youth Team Ireland Assistance Required

The NCFFI Youth Team Manager, Gavin Walsh is seeking expressions of interest from experienced anglers to take up the position of co-manager(s) to share the commitment of leading our Youth Teams to the World stage in 2019 and the option of fielding teams in the U15, U20 and U25 categories.
It is desirable for applicants to have an understanding of our sport at International level, but not essential as you will have the full support of the Youth Team Manager and the National Executive; Gavin will select applications based on working relationships, knowledge and commitment. This is a volunteer role, but where finances permit overseas team travel is subsidised and reviewed on an annual basis.
You will be required to pass Garda Vetting/ACCESS NI checks and undertake a minimum of a 3-hour Safeguarding awareness course. The Manager and Co-Manager have full autonomy within the protocols of the NCFFI and the Code of Ethics and Good Practice in Children’s Sport. Please refer to our Safeguarding policy here https://www.ncffi.ie/about-us/safeguarding and NCFFI Protocol https://www.ncffi.ie/about-us/protocol-policies/
If you have the time to commit to the development of our youth anglers, are an enthusiastic role leader with angling techniques and skills to share please contact Gavin on 087 613 9551 or gavinwalsh05@gmail.com by 18th January 2019
Gavin invites youth anglers who would like the opportunity to represent Ireland on the world stage in 2019 to contact him by 31st January so that he may make the necessary arrangements for future trials & selection.
