The NCFFI has been running angling events and competitions for many years. An example of which is the ‘All Ireland’ fished at various locations across Ireland annually, where individuals compete for the prestigious All Ireland Cup. With other notable events such as the senior and Junior Canals Championships and the Senior and Junior Inter-Provincials there is something for everyone.
Anglers compete for the prestigious All Ireland Cup, includes a Ladies Trophy. Usually held the Sundy prior to the August bank holidy weekend. 2018 will see the 60th anniversary of the championships.

To be held on Craigavon Lakes, Co. Armagh in Northern Ireland
The returning Home Internationals event will take place on the Newry Canal, Northern Ireland this October. The inclusion of world championship team members will be sure to attract spectators to this event that we are delighted has chosen a venue in Ireland for it’s return to the calendar.
