The National Coarse Federation of Ireland, NCFFI is committed to creating and maintaining the safest environment possible for all young people and vulnerable adults who wish to participate in angling sport and recreation.
We are fully committed to safeguarding the well-being of all in coarse and predator angling. Every person, to include our coaches, parents & guardians and young people themselves should at all times, show respect and understanding for participants’ rights, safety and welfare, and conduct themselves in a way that reflects the principles of the federation and the guidelines contained in our Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children and Vulnerable Adults in our sport.
Whether or not you wish to take up the coaching pathway we recommend Garda/PSNI vetting for all but it is essential and obligatory for all persons with access to children and vulnerable adults and those making decisions regarding the welfare of children at local, regional and national level.
