Time for a change of venue for Irelands biggest and longest running one-day coarse angling event. The 56th NCFFI All Ireland Championships for Seniors & Ladies will this year and for the first time move to the town of Ballybay in Co. Monaghan. Thanks to Ballybay Angling Association’s offer to host the championships we shall be fishing a selection of Monaghan loughs along with Lough Sillan, Co. Cavan. Popular fisheries to include Bairds Shore, Lough Egish among others will feature with all sections confirmed closer to the time.
The HQ for the event is the recently re-opened Riverdale Hotel in Ballybay where anglers can enjoy a breakfast over a relaxed draw. A car draw will be available to those who are genuinely travelling together and mention the fact as they register on the day. Fresh bait will also be available to purchase at the draw. Registration takes place at 8am for a 9am draw.
A presentation to the winners with refreshments will take place after the competition.
Entry is €25 with a full payout and winners trophies. Everyone is welcome to take part in the championships irrespective of club, federation or community.
