Safeguarding Children in Angling
The National Coarse Federation of Ireland, NCFFI is committed to creating and maintaining the safest environment possible for all young people and vulnerable adults who wish to participate in angling sport and recreation.
We are fully committed to safeguarding the well-being of all in coarse and predator angling. Every person, to include our coaches, parents & guardians and young people themselves should at all times, show respect and understanding for participants’ rights, safety and welfare, and conduct themselves in a way that reflects the principles of the federation and the guidelines contained in our Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children and Vulnerable Adults in our sport.
For those resident in Northern Ireland Angling NI is the registered body for completing applications which are free of charge to all club members within the Ulster Coarse Fishing Federation, the provincial council of the NCFFI. Applications are made on-line where you will be required to open an account an supplying a PIN number provided below.

You can now apply for Enhanced Disclosures online for your club officers and volunteers by following the link and guidelines provided.
When requested please input the following Personal Identification Number for Angling NI which is:- 409880 This is the number that you will need to input for any applicants and application so that they can note this on their on-line application.
Before you start:
Apply by logging in. If you don’t have an account with Access NI you can register as part of the application.
Before beginning you must have with you the following details:
- The pin number 409880
- your address(es) for the last five years.
- your National Insurance number.
- your driving license and passport numbers (if you have these documents)
Clubs (Designated Officer, Secretaries or Chairperson) must also complete the ID Validation Form and return this to AnglingNI via email or post.
After you complete the application
After you complete your application it will be forwarded to the registered body for approval and then to AccessNI for processing. You will be able to track its progress. You can do this by logging into your account or by using the link included in the confirmation email you will receive.
