UPPER LOUGH ERNE
Lough Erne is the name of two connected lakes in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and the second biggest system in Northern Ireland. Its two lakes are widened sections of the river Erne that joins the two flowing through the town of Enniskillen in the middle.
Our location is the Upper Lough, the smaller of the two lakes covering an area of approximately 13.3 square miles (34 km²) with average depths of 7.5 feet (2.3 meters).
Our proposed fishing area stretches from the northern point, 54.328962, -7.621726 to the southern point 54.160656, -7.451342. Fishing maps will be provided at the competition.
FISH SPECIES
Known for its abundant fish stocks there is a large population of perch and pike over 100cm are regularly recorded.
