World Championship Feeder Fishing for Clubs
Lough Muckno, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Ireland
22nd & 23rd April 2023
Cead Mile Fáilte
The National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland, NCFFI is honoured to be appointed the organisation of the 6th edition of the FIPSed World Championships Feeder Fishing for Clubs.
On behalf of the organising committee, I am pleased to present to you the official invitation to the event valid for all National Federations of Freshwater Angling Sport and their qualifying clubs.
The destination for the championships is the town of Castleblayney in County Monaghan and the scenic environs of Lough Muckno Leisure Park. The park is set on 900 acres of countryside with woodland walking trails, landscaped parkland, a golf course, and a freshwater lake.
The NCFFI first hosted the European Championships on Lough Muckno in 1998. The area is since renowned for its Irish Fishing Festivals, good fishing, and warm hospitality and the lake sympathetically enhanced to offer parking at your peg across several locations. Access comes to us with kind permissions of local landowners, Monaghan County Council, Concra Wood Golf Club and Coillte, Irish Forestry.
We are therefore delighted to host the first World Championships on the venue, an event we hope will showcase the fine angling product in Castleblayney to club anglers worldwide.
I am looking forward to your visit and participation in this great contest and extend to you a warm Irish welcome.
Oliver McGauley Hon. President, NCFFI
