Competition fishing Irish style at the Granville Cup festival on Inniscarra Lake. Entry is €100 and a full payout supplemented by sponsorship from Granville’s Bar & Restaurant in Macroom. The market town of Macroom just 15 minutes from Coachford is a favourite of the visiting angler providing plenty of quality accommodation.
Inniscarra Lake provides good quality coarse fishing to include bream ranging from lkg, skimmers, hybrids, roach, pike, perch, tench and rudd. A permit is required to fish and these are available to buy at the draw along with fresh bait on-site daily, pre-order when booking in. To protect the fishery we practise catch & release. All anglers must observe bio-security procedures on arrival in Coachford.
