Team Ireland

In serving Ireland’s coarse angling community for more than 50 years the NCFFI has been qualifying and training our members for the world stage since 1963. As members of The International Angling Confederation CIPS and the Fresh Water Sport Fishing Federation FIPS-ed the NCFFI fields teams at a selection of World Championships. Elected International Team Managers are responsible for the selection process and running of qualifiers, the management and training of the Team Members, sponsorship, the coordination and accompaniment of the teams in overseas travel and are bound by the general principles of the Constitution guided by our Rule Book and Code of Conduct. Any affiliated member or member of a club may apply to join the teams. Where possible the NCFFI will provide funding towards attendance at FIPSed international championships with the amounts to be agreed annually.
