Angling Festivals
Did you know you there is a coarse angling festival takes place almost every week in Ireland from May to October? From Lough Erne to Carrick on Shannon and the many lakes of the Erne system in Cavan and Leitrim, from the River Blackwater to the prolific Inniscarra Reservoir. From the small relaxed festival to the large pro-international event attracting well known names and faces to our shores there is something for everyone. Clubs and other organisations invite anglers from home and overseas to participate as they showcase the good fishing on a variety of Rivers, loughs and Canals, whilst sharing the warm hospitality of the host towns & villages that make for the Irish Angling Festival experience.
We recognise that without the visiting angler the match angling scene may not exist in Ireland and the festivals provide for the pleasure angler who looks out for reports and articles when choosing his Irish angling holiday destination.
