NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
Notice is also hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland will be held as follows.
Date: Saturday, 28th March 2026
Time: 11:00
Venue: Prosperous Parish Hall
Motions for consideration at the AGM may be submitted with immediate effect and must be received by the NCFFI Secretary no later than Friday, 23rd January 2026.
NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING (EGM)
Notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland will be held as follows.
Date: Wednesday, 11th February 2026
Time: 19:30
Venue: On-Line via Microsoft Teams
Business of the Meeting: The purpose of the meeting is to consider and, if thought fit, pass the following resolution as a Special Resolution.
Special Resolution: That the Constitution of the National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland Company Limited by Guarantee be and is hereby amended in its entirety by the adoption of the revised Constitution circulate with the notice of this meeting and presented to the meeting, and that such revised Constitution replace the existing Constitution with immediate effect.

AGM Deferral – Explanatory Note
The NCFFI Committee, acting on the advice of the Governance Committee, agreed to defer the AGM to the above date for the following reasons:
- An Extraordinary General Meeting is required to update the Federation’s Constitution to ensure compliance with CLG company law.
This EGM will be held prior to the AGM and will deal solely with the adoption of the updated Constitution. - To allow sufficient time for the preparation of the Annual General Report, including audited accounts.
