Having hosted the Celtic Cup on the Newry Canal in 2023 we are delighted to be invited by Scottish Federation for Coarse Angling to take part in the 2024 event. The competition will be played out on the Strathclyde Country Park Loch near Motherwell in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Float Team Manager Jason Ward and Youth Team Manager Adrian Browne intend to present three teams 1 junior, and two to include women and seniors not currently or with limited experience of the world stage. The event is fished to FIPSed competition rules but is open to any NCFFI member to participate.

Preparation and practice takes place over two days from 10th October when the anglers will learn together about team fishing and all that is involved to take part in international competition, from the rules to bait and tactics. While the match itself takes place on 12th & 13th October.
