One of the earliest angling festivals of the year, the St. Patrick’s festival combines three days of coarse fishing on Inniscarra Lake with the fabulous hospitality of the village of Coachford.
Combined with a series of one and three day events we offer nine days of consecutive fishing for the visiting angler. Entry for the 3-day St.Patrick’s Angling Festival is €100 with full payout. Warm up with the one day open, entry €30.
Inniscarra Lake provides good quality coarse fishing to include bream ranging from lkg, skimmers, hybrids, roach, pike, perch, tench and rudd. A permit is required to fish and these are available to buy at the draw along with fresh bait on-site daily, pre-order when booking in. To protect the fishery we practise catch & release. All anglers must observe bio-security procedures on arrival in Coachford.
