The league costs £20 to join for seniors and this will be taken at the first match you fish (can join the league up until the 4th match, after this you will not be able to join the winter league) it is free for juniors (under 18) to join the league.
Each match will cost senior members either £10 or £20 to enter, for juniors it will be either £5 or £15.
So if you pay £20 for match, £10 of this is for the overall on the day, £5 is for your 4-6 man section and £5 goes towards the overall winter league pot. If you choose not to pay the £10 for the daily overall, if you place in the top 1-4 in the match you will not win the money, instead will go to the next person who did pay the £10 for the overalls. Juniors is the same the overall is optional but will be either £5 or £15, to keep costs as low as possible for youngsters, if they frame in the league overall they will take the money for that.
The league will consist of 10 matches, with your best 7 matches to count. The angler with the least points at the end of the series wins. We aim to pay top 6 in the league as minimum.
The winter league dates (all on Sundays) are as follows:
Match 1 – 24th September (Newry canal)
Match 2 – 8th October (Newry Canal
Match 3 – 22nd October (Newry Canal)
Match 4 – 5th of November (Newry Canal
Match 5 – 19th of November (Newry Canal or Blackwater depending on how cold/ or if the canal is still fishing)
Match 6 – 3rd of December (Blackwater)
Match 7 – 17th of December (Blackwater)
Match 8 – 7th of January (Blackwater)
Match 9 – 21st January (Blackwater)
Match 10 – 4th of February (Blackwater)

The club is £25 for anglers over 18 to join and £10 for juniors!
