The Provincial Councils serve to support the NCFFI by ensuring fair representation across the island of Ireland. Member clubs affiliate to their respective council.
- The Provincial Council will coordinate all matches and events in their province in an attempt to ensure they do not clash allowing members to fish all events.
- The Provincial Council delegate will share events with the NCFFI committee and ensure there are no clashes with National and International matches.
- Every four years the Province will host the Inter Provincial Championships and the Confined Matches at both junior and senior level.
- The Provincial Council comes into it’s own when there are issues to be resolved; in obtaining a consensus they can have one voice on policy.
