Top feeder angler and 2023 bronze medalist Steven Whyte remains undefeated. For the third year in a row Stephen is the All Ireland Method Feeder Champion!
2021 champion Enda Hickey had started the day off well to finish as runner-up with 38,650kg to Stephen’s 43,050kg with Donatas Petreikis finishing 3rd with 36.040kg. It was close at the top with the 4th match place going to Vaidas Jagela, 35.740kg and 5th Johnny Bailey, 32.320kg. A big shout out goes to U20 youth float fishing team hopeful John Mulligan who fished a great match to finish 17th!
The 30 competing anglers who qualified over two heats at Gaulmoylestown and Oaklands lakes met again in New Ross for the championship final today. The prize fund of €800 was shared among the top five with section winners paid on the day.
