In 2012 Gavin Walsh took on a task that generations of Irish coaches had avoided. He undertook the management of Junior teams at FIPSed World Championships. As a direct result of his initiative Ireland is in a position to host these championships in 2017. In re-establishing the junior teams after such a long gap and in working with a wide and divergent talent base, Gavin has taken our junior development to the next level and through his dedication and support the NCFFI once again have juniors on the world stage. Jack Tisdall now takes over the team management and our representation at International and European events.
