All members of the NCFFI are expected to uphold the rules and standards that govern our sport. The NCFFI Rule Book sets out the official protocols for angling and is supported by our organisational policies. Our Code of Conduct outlines the behaviours expected from members, officials, coaches, parents, and guardians, reflecting the fundamental principles under which the National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland operates.

We are strongly committed to safeguarding, and every affiliated club must appoint a Safeguarding/Children’s Officer. This ensures that the principles and guidelines for working with young people and vulnerable adults are fully supported and adopted — in line with the NCFFI Safeguarding Policy & Guide and the Safeguarding Guidance for Children & Young People in Sport.
