In January 2015 our executive committee presented to the Inland Fisheries board the NCFFI Policy for Coarse Angling. The policy published below focuses on the future of coarse and predator angling as our sport and recreational activity and includes the following;
Stock Control – the introduction of Catch & Release to coarse angling nationwide including an option on addressing the use of Keepnets to fight poaching, cormorant control and fish movement mechanisms for game fishery control.
Fishery Development – the provision of open and easy access for all and the elevation of existing protocols to deal with anti social behaviour.
Funding – our full support of an anglers contribution with the introduction of a Coarse Angling Development and Conservation Stamp.

Coarse Angling Conservation and Development Stamp
The NCFFI is in favour of the introduction of a Coarse Angling Conservation and Development Stamp. A draft policy was proposed at our AGM in 2012 where it received a unanimous vote from our members.
