FEEDER TEAM IRELAND

In 2014 the NCFFI Feeder Team celebrated a historic silver medal win for Ireland at the 4th World Feeder Fishing Championships on Inniscarra Lake. In the last three years 9 different anglers have represented Ireland at the World Championships and Team Manager Brenton Sweeney continues to strive towards another championship medal. Team Ireland Feeder currently ranks 12th out of a field of 38 Nations.

An All Ireland Junior Feeder Championships has now been established to take place in October annually to bring forward newcomers to our sport.

TEAM SELECTION

In accordance with NCFFI Protocol the Team Manager is authorised to select his team from these applicants based on his assessment. If more than 15 applications are received the Team Manager will organise qualifiers (no entry fee required) to look at all those anglers who apply

Any affiliated member or member of a club may apply to join the teams. You are required to hold a ROI/UK & Northern Ireland passport.  FIPS-ed rules allow for one Foreign National – non-passport holder on the team, residency rules apply.

Applications are now closed and the Feeder Team Manager has announced that due to the close proximity of the two events and extended travel, he will present the 2018 team at the championships to take place during the World Games in South Africa in February 2019.
