Predator Team Ireland
In May 2018 the Shore Team took part in the FIPSed World Championships Carnivorous AB – Fishing with artificial lures in Bosnia. The results were not as good as anticipated and the team finished in 16th position. Top rod Jacek Gorny finished in 24th position out of a total of 85.
Next it was off to Rutland Water in England for the 11th FIPSed World Boat Angling Championships, fishing with Artificial Lures. Training took place on the fabulous Grafham Water where the team had some lovely catches and for most their first experience of Zander. The team finished in 10th position. In February 2019 the boat team selected by the 2018 qualifiers, who participated in the 11th World Championships in England, travelled to take part in the World Games in South Africa. The same team was selected to travel due to the close proximity of the two championships. The FIPSed World Championships Carnivorous AB Boats took place on the Loskop Dam. The team finished in 9th position.
