In February 2019 the boat team selected by the 2018 qualifiers, who participated in the 11th World Championships in England, travelled to take part in the World Games in South Africa. The same team was selected to travel due to the close proximity of the two championships. The FIPSed World Championships Carnivorous AB Boats took place on the Loskop Dam. The team finished in 9th position.
Team players Jacek Gorny and Tomek Kurman took the Bronze 3rd position as a pair at the 2013 World Boat Championships in Enniskillen. Steven Powell and Andrew Powell hold the biggest fish prize for their 102cm specimen at the 2016 World Boat Championships in France.

Team Selection
International Team Managers are responsible for the selection process and running of qualifiers, the management and training of the Team Members, sponsorship, the coordination and accompaniment of the teams in overseas travel and are bound by the general principles in the Constitution and Protocol & Policy documents with the support of the Executive.
In accordance with NCFFI Protocol the Team Manager is authorised to select his team through a series of qualifiers for both disciplines, Boat and Shore.
Any affiliated member or member of a club may apply to join the teams. You are required to hold a ROI/UK & Northern Ireland passport. FIPS-ed rules allow for one Foreign National – non-passport holder on the team, residency rules apply.
