YOUTH TEAM SELECTION AND QUALIFIERS
NCFFI Tubertini Youth Team Ireland propose to field three teams at the FIPS-ed World Youth Angling Championships to be held in Italy in 2018 hoping for representation in all U15, U20 and U25 categories.
Selection
Two qualifying weekends with the best results from 3 out of the 4 matches will select the teams for the U15 and U20 levels. The U25’s are invited to take part in the qualifiers but with the team selection similar to that of the Senior Float Team. Penalty points, to be agreed, will be applied for non attendance at the qualifiers. Other anglers will be selected to support the teams during the championships. The final team selection will be announced in October.

Qualifiers
The first qualifying weekend will be run in conjunction with the NCFFI ALL IRELAND JUNIOR CLUBS competition on the NEWRY CANAL. The venue for the second week will be decided later. Fishing to International Rules as per FIPS-ed.
The teams of 5 will be selected in accordance with NCFFI Protocol. To be eligible for selection you must be a member of the NCFFI and be aged under 15/20/25 on 31st December 2017.
